Theresa Farruggia Oldaker Butler

Theresa Farruggia Oldaker Butler, 89, went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2007. She was born and lived her entire life in the Akron area. Mrs. Butler was a homemaker for her beloved family and member of McNaughton Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence Oldaker in 1957 and Leeland Butler in 1986; granddaughter, Teresa Marie Darby in 1967; brother, Joseph Farruggia, and sisters, Connie Coletti, Anna Grande and Dollie Farruggia. She is survived by daughters, Tina (Dutch) Kiefer and Mary Elizbeth (George David) Davis; Grandchildren, William J. Darby lll, Georgia Davis, David Davis, Robert Davis, and Roscoe Lemon Jr.; 10 Great-Grandchildren; brother, John Farruggia; nieces Mary Ann Cook, Carmella Farruggia, Maria Endicott; and nephew, Anthony Farruggia.

The funeral service will be Monday, January 8, 2007, at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. with Pastor Tim Huth officiating. Interment at East Akron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 7, from 2 to 5 p.m.
