Charlotte Wilma Harden

Charlotte Wilma Harden (nee Setzer), 85, passed away June 24, 2009, after a brief struggle with pneumonia. She was born in Akron on May 16, 1924, to August and Elizabeth (Mayer) Setzer. She retired from the Admitting Office at Barberton Citizens Hospital with many years of service. Charlotte was a member of the Firestone United Methodist Church and the Billow Chapter of the Eastern Star. As an avid sports fan, she loved rooting for all the Cleveland teams, and participated in an AARP bowling league for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred and sister, Margaret Fulmer. She is survived by her sons, Terry (Susan) of Cuyahoga Falls and Jerry (Diane) of Miamisburg; grandchildren, Rochelle (Patrick) O’ Grady, Tammy (Aaron) Hineline, Donielle Harden and Terry Harden ll; sister, Jean (Marshall) Hyden; and many great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Friday, July 3, 2009, at 3:00 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. with Rev. Chris Martin officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, July 3, for TWO HOURS prior to the service, from 1 to 3 p.m., where an Eastern Star service will be conducted by the Billow Chapter at 3:00 p.m.
