Dean A. Barrett

Dean A Barrett, 71, of Akron, passed away August 16, 2008, after a long illness. Dean lived in Akron his whole life and was a Korean War, US Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Thelma; beloved brothers, James and Ronald; and grandson, John Dean. He is survived by sons, John (Stacy), and Mark (Gia); daughters, Cathy (Fred) Nixon, Julia and George Walter, and Debra (Jim) Marcinko; brothers Alan, and Robin (Debbie); sister, Pam (Jim) Ford; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.

The family wishes to thank Kelli Bryant of The Arbors of Canton, and Hospice for all the care and help provided to Mr. Barrett.

At the convenience of the family, a private graveside service will be held at Northlawn Cemetery.
