DeAnne T. Recob

DeAnne T. Recob, 42, passed away January 4, 2008.

DeAnne was born in Lapeer, Michigan on January 26, 1965. Before moving to Ohio, DeAnne lived in Naples, Florida with her husband and best friend, Daniel S. Recob.

Dee loved being a mother, wife and “Aunty Dee” to her many nieces & nephews; it was in these relationships where she shined. She had many outstanding skills including restaurant management, real estate, and office management. She was selfless and took great pride in being available in whatever capacity necessary for family, friends and neighbors.

Dee lit a room with her outgoing personality and smile. Her presence was felt by all who knew and loved her and her passing has left a hole in our hearts and our lives.

Left to mourn her passing in addition to her husband is her son, William Randal Baily, Jr. (RJ) and his father, William R. Baily; Dee’s father and step-mother, Royal W. Cripps, Jr. and Christine of MI; mother, Barbara Cripps of GA; brothers and sisters, Gary (Sandy), Royal III, Velvit Klauka and Dawn Langhorne; mothers and fathers-in-law, David and Donna Murphy and Fred and Linda Schromm; brothers and sisters-in-law, Todd Recob, Holly Knerr, Cindy Posten and Sandy Schromm; nieces and nephews, Devan Langhorne, Courtney and Kristin Cripps, Taylar, Hailee, Logan and Trayver Klauka, and Jamie and Alex Posten; and Grandma Leith, who held a very special place in Dee’s heart.

Dee will also be greatly missed by lifelong friends “The Fab Five”, Lisa Martus, Kat Mulligan, Karen Downs and Tracy Lindsay.

Her unconditional love was also evident by her passion for animals, especially their beloved dogs, Matthis, Lexington, Brownie, Billy and their cat BooBoo.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 7, 2008, at 6 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Michael Mancari officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for TWO HOURS PRIOR TO THE SERVICE, from 4 – 6 p.m. No flowers please. Donations may be made in DeAnne’s name to the Humane Society of Greater Akron, 4904 Quick Rd. Akron, OH 44264 or to the animal rescue shelter of one’s choice.
