Elizabeth L. Pryor

Elizabeth L. Pryor, 83, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and was reunited with her husband on April 29, 2007. A lifelong Akron resident, she was a long-time and active member of the First Evangelical Congregational Church in Firestone Park, and loved quilting and crocheting. She was also a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; brothers, Leonard, Clark and Harry Snider; and sister, Cora Snider. She is survived by her children, James (Diana), Kenneth, Douglas (Cheryl) and Laura (Norman) Rhoades; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Lou (Marvin) Capps and Susan (Donald) Phoenix, of FL; brothers, James (Eileen) and Jess (Juanita), of FL; and many other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007, at 11 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Scott Carr officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive
friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 2, from 4 - 7 p.m.
