Edna Woodward

Edna Woodward, 79, passed away February 23, 2008. She was born in Spencer, WV to the late George and Ila Church and had lived in Akron since the age of 17. She was a devoted homemaker to her family and was a loving and caring "Nana" to everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; son, Jess; great-grandson, Wyatt Dickey; 2 brothers and one sister. She is survived by her children, Sandra Smith, Sherry Cruse, Sheena (Thomas) Webb and Jim (Gloria) Woodward; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Church and Shirley (Gilbert) Davis; brothers, Jess (Lil) Church and George (Barb) Church; and numerous loving relatives
and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 27, 2008, from 4 - 6 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home at the address above in loving memory of Edna "Nana" Woodward.
