EFlorence S. "Mickey" Kershner

Florence S. "Mickey" Kershner, 75, went home to be with the Lord May 29, 2008. She was born in Akron and was a lifelong area resident, living in Cuyahoga Falls and Tallmadge in addition to Akron. She was a graduate of the
University of Akron, earning her bachelors degree in education, and was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. She went on to teach first grade at The Henry School and was also a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

But most of all, Mickey was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.

Preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth R. and cousin, Robert Sattler, she is survived by her children, Beckey (Daniel) Lebo and Scott H.; grandchildren, Hannah and David Lebo; and sister, Charlene (Richard E.)
Weber.

The family would like to thank those who cared for her in her last years with kindness and respect at Middlebury Manor, Altercare of Hartville and Akron General Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Steve Bucy officiating. Interment Rose Hill Burial Park. Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 1, from 1 - 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
