Frederick Clyde Tenney Sr.

Frederick Clyde Tenney Sr., 87, passed away September 29, 2009. He was a life long area resident, and was employed with Fairlawn Supply & Concrete with many years service. Mr. Tenney was a member of the Apostolic Church of Barberton for fifty nine years, and a fifty year member of the Masons at Coventry – Akron Lodge No. 83 F. & A.M.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Jessie Tenney. He is survived by his wife of sixty seven years, Virginia; sons, David (Linda), Paul (Rosemary), and Frederick Jr. (Meg); daughter, Sandra (Peter) Litvinchyk; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m., at the Apostolic Church of Barberton, 1717 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd, with Pastor Rodney Pamer officiating. Interment at Copley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St. on Friday, October 2, from 5 to 7 p.m.
