Georgia E. (Pastorius) Carlson

Georgia E. (Pastorius) Carlson, 73, passed away January 29, 2010. She was born in Phillippi, WV to the late Wayman and Edith (Mason) Donegia and had been an Akron resident for most of her life.

Georgia was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, was very active with Springfield Suburban Youth Football and was an outstanding square dancer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James, Jacob and Lloyd, and grandchildren, Theodore and Joseph. She is survived by her children, Michael, David, Samuel, Melissa and Jacob; 26 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Pete, Virginia, Betty, Charles, Sherwood and Vicki; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 3045 Albrecht Ave., Akron, OH 44312, with Rev. Eugene Higgins officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 6 - 7 p.m. Private interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
