Helen M. English

Helen M. English, 89, went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2007. Born in Byesville Ohio, she has lived in the Akron area since 1936. Mrs. English was a long time employee of Melchs Foods in the food preparation department. She was a member of the Church of the Master United Methodist Church, since 1936.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mahlon E. English in 1993; son David N. English; grandson, Christopher Triola, and parents, Reul and Gertrude Anderson. She is survived by her sons, Richard M. (Nancy), and Robin L. (Dawn) English; daughter-in-law, Margie English; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Turner and Patricia Kovalchik; and sister-in-law, Ruth Anderson.

The funeral service will be Monday, February 12, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment at East Akron Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 11, from 1 to 3 p.m.
