John L. FouttyJohn L. Foutty, Jr., 69, passed away after a brief illness.

Born in Akron, John lived in Akron for most of his life. He owned Martin Meat in Kenmore and was a member of the Adoniram-Joppa Lodge #517 F.& A.M.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Martha; son, Johnny (Maria); daughter, Debbie Van Meter and Ron, Sharon (Dick) Wyatt, Lynda Tryon and Sam; special friend, Jim Van Meter; grandchildren, Nova, Tessa (Mike), Bryan (Kim), Michelle, Jeffrey, Johnna, Steven, Briggette; great granddaughter, Taylor; brother, Chuck (Janice); and many other family and friends.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M. TUESDAY, December 11, 2007, at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Jeffrey A. Hancock officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home MONDAY, December 10, 2007, from 5 until 9 P.M. a Masonic service will be held 5:00 P.M.
