Juanita S. Matthews, 85, passed away February 4, 2008.

She was born in Central City, Kentucky to the late Walter and Bessie Stewart and had lived most of her life in Akron. Juanita was a member of the Brown Street Church of Christ and of the Mogadore Boat Club,.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her son, Carl Ray and her sister, Eloise. She is survived by her son, Ronald (Terri); grandchildren, Tracy and Eric Sanders; 3 great-grandchildren; and brother, Walter Stewart

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 6 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Friends may call at the funeral home for ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 5 – 6 p.m. Private interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
