Kevin Lawless

Kevin Lawless, 72, passed away Dec. 8, 2006, with his loving family at his side.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Lois, in 1992. He is survived by his son, Richard (Theresa) Lawless of Tampa, FL; daughters, Teresa (Millard) Green, Barbara Lawless, and Carolyn (Charles) Tennant, all of Akron; brothers, Jim (Sue) Lawless of Tampa, FL, Tom Lawless of Akron, and Butch Lawless of St. Petersburg, FL; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Born in Akron, he was a lifelong resident and worked for the IBEW Local 306. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and belonged to the American Legion 566, Eagles 555, Orioles Nest 167 and the Army-Navy Club 250. We are going to miss his beautiful smile and great jokes. He will be deeply missed by his 2 best friends - his brother Tom and Dave Haught. Rest in peace, Dad, and enjoy the jitterbug with mom once again. We Love You!

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2006, at 1 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted by the American Legion. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 13, from 4 - 8 p.m. and for ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 12 - 1 p.m.
