Lloyd P. KieferLloyd P. Kiefer, “Dutch”, 80, passed away April 5, 2008.

Born in Fredericktown, Pa. Lloyd came to Akron in 1955 to work for the Ford Motor Company, Walton Hills Plant, as a lift truck driver. He retired from there in 1988 so he would have more time to enjoy his love, fishing.

Dutch was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Theresa Kiefer; brothers, Lups, who was killed in action during WWII and Lambert; sister, Tootsie, Loreatte, Pearl; and niece, Marsha. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Tina; sons, David and Danny (Tina); grandchldren, Sara and Chris;and many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. FRIDAY, April 11, at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 East Market St., with Pastor Tim Huth officiating. Private inurnment at East Akron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY, April 11, from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
