Lester L. Waid, Sr.

Lester L. Waid, Sr., 67, passed away suddenly April 18, 2008.

He was preceded in death by son, Matthew; mother, Grace Waid Bennett; and brother, John Waid of Quinwood, WV.

He was born June 17, 1940 in Gasden, WV. He served in the U.S. Army 1961 until 1963.

He leaves daughter, Jennifer Jackson; sons, Lester, Jr., Christopher of Ocean Springs, MS and Bruce Morrison of Randolph, OH; sisters, Gail (Charles), Barbara (Robert), Sharon (Paul), and Ilene; brothers, Richard of Maryland, Leonard (Sheila), Lewis, and Carl all of W.V.; six grandchildren; and companion, Jacklyn Stalnaker and her extended family.

The funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. FRIDAY, April 25, 2008 at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 East Market St. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. FRIDAY.
