Marilyn L. Serva

Marilyn L. Serva, 72, was reunited with her husband on October 18, 2008. She was born in Akron to the late Henry and Mildred (Bennett) Stott and had worked at the Holiday Inn in Kent as a Cook. She was a past member of the
Cuyahoga Falls American Legion, the Akron Moose and the Tallmadge VFW.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; son, John; great-grandson Isaac; and brother, Howard Stott. She is survived by her children, Becky (Robert) Phillips, Barb Meyer (Bob Hanshaw),
Steve (Gerry) Serva, Teri (Chuck) Dick, Mary Woodward, Andy Serva and Sue (Tracy) Vaughn; 26 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Janice) Stott; and many other loving relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 1 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Kirk LaVigne officiating. Interment at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home for TWO HOURS prior to the service, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's honor may be made to Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305.
