Patricia L. Pennie

Patricia L. Pennie, 53, passed away suddenly March 4, 2008. She was born in Akron on September 2, 1954 to the late Richard and Pauline Eldridge where she lived until moving to Marshallville in 1992.

She was a proud life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Huff Post # 1062, and enjoyed crafts and collecting figurine chickens. But her family was what she devoted her life to, and she was incredibly proud of everyone. She will be sadly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Herbert C. Eldridge and father-in-law, Charles L. Pennie. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Charles M. Pennie; children, Stacey (Dan) O'Hara, Tracey Pennie, Charlesa (Gary) Bender and Bryan (Becky) Pennie; grandchildren, Tiffany, Danny, Nicholas, Nathan, Brandon and Crew; siblings, Robert (Liz) Eldridge, Ann (Ronald) Linville, Richard (Bonnie) Eldridge, Ronald (Louise) Eldridge, Laura (Patrick) Conley, Lawrence Eldridge and Ralph (R.G.) Eldridge; mother-in-law, Tommie Pennie; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Jim) Commer and Vicki Pennie; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Josh Moraghan officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 7, from 4 - 7 p.m.
