Pauline R. Pillot

Pauline R. Pillot, 96, passed away November 13, 2006. She was a lifelong Akron resident where she worked in the office of Attorney O.H. Corvington for 45 years. She also worked for the 9th District Court of Appeals, where she retired as a law clerk.

Pauline was a devout member of the South Arlington United Methodist Church. At their recent 90th anniversary celebration, she was overjoyed and proud to be honored as both the oldest living member and as an EIGHTY YEAR member. She undertook many responsibilities over the years, and sang in the choir and was a member of the United Methodist Women.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clara, her sister, Hannah Fusselman; and her niece, Lucille Fusselman. She is survived by a host of dear friends, relatives and her beloved church family.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Dr. Pastor Andrew Mabiala officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for ONE HOUR prior to the service, from 12 - 1 p.m. Private interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund at S. Arlington United Methodist Church, 790 S. Arlington St., Akron, OH 444306.
