Richard W. Johnson

Richard W. Johnson, 75, passed away February 25, 2010. Born and raised in Akron, he worked for Goodyear Aerospace as an accounts payable manager for 30 years. Dick was a kind and friendly man and will be remembered for his collection of vintage Pontiac automobiles, his love of playing euchre, and his intensely competitive Monopoly games.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy; son, David; daughter, Christine Frost; grandson, Ryan Johnson; and many loving friends.

A memorial service will be Sunday, March 7, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for TWO HOURS prior to the service on Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m.
