Robert F. Kelly

Robert F. Kelly, 74, passed away April 13, 2009. Born in Chets Springs, PA, he lived over fifty years in the Akron area. Mr. Kelly was a manager for various trucking companies in Akron, and was a long-time member of the Akro Club.

Preceded in death by his son, Robert, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary; daughter, Cathy (Jimmy) Modzel; son, Bill Kelly; grandchildren, Adam (Regina) Modzel, Kara (Chad) Roseberry, Aaron Modzel, Brittany Kelly and Shawn Kelly; and sisters, Alice Funicelli, Judy Kelly and Nancy (Bob) Merithew.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Gary E. Bollin for the many years of heartfelt care he gave to Robert.

The funeral service will be Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 11 a.m.. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 15, from 5 - 7 p.m.
