Roger A. McCann

Roger A. McCann, 71, left this world June 10, 2009, to be reunited with the love of his life, Vivian. Born in Akron, he served in the US Army and retired from Goodyear.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Jerry. He is survived by daughters, Melodie (Herb) Barker, Cheryl Hyre, Lisa (Mike) Stewart and Andrea Coote; grandchildren, Niki, Jason, Craig, Randi, Cecil, Jesica, and Cody; 5 great-grandchildren; and beloved aunt Gladys Stanton.

The funeral service will be held Monday, June 15, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. with Rev. Richard F. Beck officiating.

Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 14, from 1 to 4 p.m.
