Beatrice Board Romine

Beatrice Board Romine, 97, passed away April 9, 2005 at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Spencer, WV, she resided in the Akron area since 1924 and was a member of the South Arlington United Methodist Church since 1938. In recent years she lived at Rockynol Retirement Community.

Preceded in death by husband Gomer and 8 siblings, she will be sadly missed by daughter, Virginia Morgan; sons, Dorsey (Anne) Romine, and William (Norma) Romine; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will take place Tuesday, April 12 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Dave Mosebrook and son Rev. Scott Mosebrook officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Calling hours will take place tonite from 6 to 8 p.m. and tomorrow from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH., 44333, or to Rockynol Retirement Community, 1150 W. Market St., Akron, OH., 44313.
