Charlotte D. Brownfield

Charlotte D. Brownfield, 57, of Ravenna, passed away August 9, 2005. She was a valued employee of H. & H. Engineered Molded Products of Solon, Ohio.

She is survived by her dog and companion, Freeto; daughter, Jamie of Barberton; son, Dale Jr. and wife Melanie of Canton; grandchildren, Britney, Justin, Gabrielle & Kayla; sister Debbie Cathey (nee Thomas), formerly of Hartville; niece, Megan Cathey of Hartville; great niece and nephew, Alyssa & Zachary; brothers, Gary & Greg Thomas. She was preceded in death by her father, Cyril Thomas of Portage Lakes.

As she desired, cremation has taken place. A Memorial talk will be given by a local Elder of the Kent Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Saturday, August 27, 2005, at 2 p.m., at Cascade Valley Metro Park, 1061 Cuyahoga St. in Akron - please enter at the Oxbow Area entrance only.

For those who wish to send flowers, delivery can be made at the Oxbow Area between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Donations can be made to Akron General Cancer Treatment Center, 224 W. Exchange St., Akron, Ohio, 44302, and the Visiting Nurse Services of Portage & Summit Counties. Light refreshments will follow the Memorial talk.
