| In Loving Memory
Edmund T. Ferrell Edmund T. Ferrell, 74, passed away July 8, 2005. Born in Cleveland, he had been an Akron-area resident for the last 34 years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and retired from Highland Tower. He was a member of The Chapel - Green Campus, was a former trustee of the Canton McKinley Rifle and Pistol Club, was a former Board member of the Zeppelin Club and belonged to the Canal Fulton Rifle and Pistol Club. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joan; daughter, Denise (Alan) Peterson; grandchildren, Robert and Tricia; brother, James (Karen); mother-in-law, Helen Shumaker; sister-in-law, Ann (George) Platis; special friends, Richard and Norman Hicks, Jeffrey Nathaniel, Kristoff Goson, Tim DeLauder and Walt Ensign; and many other loving relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2005, at 11 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor Lawrence B. Shaw officiating. Interment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home TODAY from 2 - 4 p.m. Donations may be made to The Chapel - Green Campus, 1800 Raber Rd.
