Elaine H. Friend left this world July 24, 2005, to be reunited with her husband Donald, parents Minnie & Alfred Smith, and her two grandsons, Cody & Corbin Trautman.

She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanine & Leonard Trautman; grandchildren, Nichole, Nisa, Nichelle; the other half of the little ladies, Kathleen Greaves; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Elaine graduated from Garfield High School and lived in the Akron area most of her 85 years. She was a home-maker and was an active member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She will be missed by all.

The funeral will take place Wednesday, July 27, at 1 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, 724 Sumner St., with Rev. Robert Tauscher Jr. officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 26, at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St, from 5 to 7 p.m.
