Thomas R. "Tommy" Irons Thomas R. "Tommy" Irons, 39, was born November 17, 1965, in Akron, Ohio and was raised in North Hill. He was employed at the Daimler Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant and he belonged to the UAW Local # 122 for the past ten years. He is survived by his daughter, Megan and her mother, Theresa - T & T. Other survivors include his mother, Delores K. (Zane) Simmons of Cornville, AZ.; father, Gideon "Bud" (Donna) Irons of Rootstown; big sister, Linda (Gary) Williams; little "bro" Todd Irons; half-sister, Jessica Irons; uncle, Roger Graham of FL.; cousins, Nona (Rick) Boyer, Maria (Chris) York, Becky (Terry) MacNeill; many nieces & nephews; aunts, Joyce, Janice; uncles, Gordon, Roger, Ronald. He was preceded in death by his favorite aunt, Rae Marie Graham and his grandparents. Tommy died unexpectedly on September 1, 2005, at the hands of a careless driver in southern Ohio while riding his motorcycle. He was on his Harley doing what he loved best. His memory will be cherished by all that knew and loved him. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, September 7, at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Eloy Pacheco officiating. Interment at Edinburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
