Leona A. Langley

Leona A. Langley, 98, passed away June 1, 2005 in South Bend, IN. She was a member of the Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star Billows Chapter # 483 for over 50 years, and Yusef Khan # 24 for 25 plus years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack"; son, Ramon Langley; and sisters, Alice McCormick and Goldie Strickland. She is survived by her daughter, Ramona Morgan; son, Thomas (Virginia) Langley of South Bend, IN; daughter-in-law, Ruby Langley of Austin, TX.; 11 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Saturday, June 4, 2005, at 10:00 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. At the request of the family, donations may be made to the Goodyear Heights United Methodist Church, 1690 Hillside Terrace, Akron, Ohio 44305 or Hospice of V.N.S., 3358 Ridgewood Rd.
