I am so sad to hear of Mickey's passing. She was a wonderful cousin whom as a child I felt close and whose life and family shaped mine. Regretfully after moving away from Akron, and particularly in my later years our paths seldom crossed, with the exception of Christmas cards and an occasional family celebration. I believe that in God's providence Mick is united in spirit with all those she loved and who loved her. She is and was a unique and special gift to me. Thinking of all those who loved her in this time of loss. Love, John and Joann Powers

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my dear sister in Christ, Mickey Border. Truly a remarkable lady, I was blessed to have her in my life, through Family of Faith UM Church.
