Great Grandpa, I will always remember the times I spent with you when I was younger, always walking me to Dairy Queen with grandma, and letting me see your Mickey and Minnie collection. Thank you for being the most amazing grandpa I could ask for. I will never forget the kindness you shared and always being so interested in what I had to say, no matter how corny 😂 Losing you was so hard, harder than anyone thinks, but I know you're dancing and doing carpentry for the the Lord and everyone else up there. We all love and miss you sooooooo much grandpa. This isn't goodbye, but see you again someday ❤️

Grandpa you will be truly missed by me, my heart is breaking. I know you are in a better place watching over all of us. My grandfather was the most gentle soul that I have ever known. I will miss your strong hugs, but will forever remember all the love, kindness and encouraging words you spoke to me. The smile on your face and the love you had for me!❤️ I will aspire to have half the tenderness you possessed. You were genuinely an AMAZING person!! I LOVE YOU. FOREVER YOUR FIRST GRANDCHILD. Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss of Mervin. My prayers will be with his family and friends. Please take comfort in knowing that God has promised a hope for the dead with a resurrection in the future, where sickness will be gone. (Revelation 21:3,4) Continue praying together as a family and supporting one another at this difficult time.
