Rollie John Orr

Rollie John Orr, 91, passed away September 18, 2005. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace, where he was one of the main design engineers of the both the Goodyear Blimp and the Corsair Air Fighter Fleet during W.W. II. He had been a member of The Chapel sence 1978, and he loved gardening and working around the house.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollie and Myrtle; sister, Violet Ripley; and brothers, Francis and Richard. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Frances Eunice; son, Rev. James R. (Patti) of Connersville, IN.; granddaughters, Carrie Lynn (Matt) Zapfe, of Greenwood, IN and Mandy Elizabeth (Dan) Ford of Richmond, IN.

The family will receive friends TODAY from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St. where procession will form. The funeral service will be held immediately following the calling hours at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Rd., with Rev. Jim Dull officiating.
