Margaret (Peg) Pritchard

Margaret (Peg) Pritchard, 79, passed away peacefully at home on April 21, 2005, after a 10-year battle with lung cancer. She was born in Akron and was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church of Akron. She had many friends at the Portage Lakes Fitness Center, which played an important role in her life.

She is survived by her husband, Leland (Lee); daughter Linda Sayre of Green, son, Terry (Cindy) of Canton; and 5 grandchildren, Kelley Sayre (Badr) of Washington, D.C., Patty, Stacy, Chelsey, and Casey Pritchard.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be private.

A memorial service will be Friday, April 29, 2005 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Akron, 292 E. Market.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Akron.
