James F. "Jim" Serdinak, 63, passed away suddenly August 11, 2005. Born in Barberton, he was a lifelong Akron area resident and for over 20 years he was the owner & operator of Kenmore Kar Kare. Jim graduated from Kenmore High School and loved target shooting, auto racing and being "Papa" to his grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by wife, Deloris; daughter, Brenda (Rick) Reichert; grandchildren, Erin and Eric Reichert; mother in-law, Mary Baldwin; brother in-law, Charles "Eddie" (Pat) Baldwin; brothers, Richard (Carole), Robert (Lizette), Edwin, Kenneth; sister, Marie Wagner; many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will take place Wednesday, August 17, at 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd., with Pastor Phil Hulgin officiating. Interment at East Akron Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home & Chapel, 760 E. Market St.
