Joyce Ruth (Holland) Shannon

Joyce Ruth (Holland) Shannon passed away unexpectedly, September 19, 2005. She was a lifelong resident of Akron and was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Mary Virginia Gillentine.

She is survived by her sons, Timothy and Thomas (Sheri), and grandsons, Joshua, Andrew and Patrick.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2005, at 12 noon, at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Michael N. Freeman officiating. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for ONE hour prior to the service, from 11 a.m. unitl noon.
