Geraldine Smith

Geraldine Smith,87, went home to be with the Lord, September 16, 2005. She was a life member of the Southeast Church of Christ, and a devoted mother, grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 69 years, Woodrow ; brothers Ed, Ray and Roy Carr. She is survived by her daughters, Carol ( Jerry) Stayer and Joyce Cassidy; grandchildren Debi (Dean) Heavner, Jerry Jr.(Caren) Stayer, Michael (Traci) Cassidy, Tammy Cassidy (Rob Nemet) and Chris Stayer; 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hospice Care Center and extend a thanks to nurses, Denise and Laura, for all of their care and support.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. with Vernon Teagarden officiating. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
