| In Loving Memory
Felda F. Staats Felda F. Staats, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 16, 2006. She was born in West Hamlin, WV, to the late Greeley and Viola May Slone, and had been an Akron resident for over 50 years. She retired from the Akron General Medical Center as an O.R. Technician, and was an active, charter member of Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral for over 52 years, serving the church as an usherette, as a prayer counselor and as a Sunday School teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ulysses; daughter, Ruth Anna; sister, Athalea Reed; and brothers, Monoe and Toly. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara (David) Swinehart; grandson, Marty (Laurie) Swinehart; brother, Gerald (Peggy) Slone, of WV; and her nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at 12 noon, at Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral, 2700 State Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, with Rev. Brock Miller and Rev. Bob Hoffman officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., on Tuesday, June 20, from 5 - 8 p.m., and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. - 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ernest Angley's Grace Cathedral Bible College Building Fund. "As for God, His way is perfect"
