Our Sister-in-Law and Aunt, Margaret L. Johnson, recently passed away and she had already prepared everything for her passing, as she was 98 years old. Margaret had left instructions how she wanted the services to be at Eckard Baldwin. As a family we hadn't many dealings with this particular funeral home in the past. Well, what we discovered was how Margaret chose the right place! Mr. Russ Eckard, Stephanie, and the entire staff were the best. They all were very professional and answered all of our questions while showing true compassion for our family and were very accommodating to our every request! They are a fantastic bunch of people and we will always be grateful to them. We would definitely agree with people choosing Eckard Baldwin during this difficult time for families.

My mom died suddenly and it was a shock to the whole family. The only good thing to come of it was the calm reassuring service we received at EBFH. Russ Eckard helped us get through this with ease and comfort. No hard sale, no pushing services we didn't want. Instead he made us feel at home and put together the service the way we wanted it. From personal pictures on the video display, to playing mom's favorite music, bringing in a piano player at our request. Russ got everything the way we wanted it and helped us deal with the cemetery, even making a last minute switch without having to move the dates and times. His expert staff was there when we needed something and seemed to blend in the background when we didn't. The room for calling hours was beautiful and handled the many friends and relatives that were there for mom. And the next morning, we had a service in the beautiful Dave Eckard chapel that brought us all together. What a class act! What a great funeral home. Hey Russ, I know your dad would be very proud of you!

I would like Express my gratitude for all the help that Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home assisted us with dignity and understanding with our loved ones. You have always provided our family for over 80 years with the most Outstanding service for our loved ones.
Russ Eckard like always we did not know who to turn to in our time of need. You and your staff have always assisted us with any type of problem we might have encountered.
You all have taken time to explain things we did not understand.
You showed so much Love and Caring to not only our mother but to our entire family.
You never once tried to make us purchase something we did not. As a matter of fact you and your staff assisted us in saving but at the same time doing so with a caring manner and professional manner.
Thank you so much for always being there Before, During and even days or weeks after the service.
Again thank all of you for your caring and supporting in our hour of need.

Just wanted you to know that the staff at the funeral home was great.  I thought it was really a good memorial service and the family was grateful.  Thanks for everything.

With the unexpected passing of my father we did not know where to turn to for help. I am so relieved we picked your fine establishment to handle this most difficult time. I would especially like to thank Mr. Russ Eckard for taking the time to really find out what was the best way to pay tribute to my father. He walked us through every possible option without any pressure and all the while doing it in a caring manner. You know when you lose a Loved One you want them to be taken care of with tender loving care. Russ Eckard took care of our Mom like she was his Mom.  Every detail was taken care of by Russ personally.  Our Mom was very special to all of us kids, and we tried to treat her like the Queen she was.  Russ & staff made our Mom look like she was a Queen.  She was treated with Kindness and Respect.  Russ  made our family stress free, he took care of everything.  You could not ask for better treatment.  Our family has been going to Eckard Baldwin for many years, and nowhere else will you feel like you are family.  They TURLY share your loss. Thank you to ALL for everything you have done for our Mom & Family.

Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home has been our family's choice for generations. My Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, my beloved Parents, and my Big brother were all professionally, lovingly, and with great care and detail laid to rest. My Father's name is proudly displayed on the Veterans Wall. Russell Eckard is like family. When my Mother passed away at home he personally came and picked her up and made sure everything was perfect. He treats everyone as if it were his own family member he is laying to rest. I would have no other funeral home to take care of all my needs. Thank you for giving my family members the best care and dignity!

Where do I begin? THANK YOU. Stephanie your calm and reassuring assistance put me at ease, thank you. Steward you do remember in April the frantic call about possible life insurance for her MEDICAID re-certification. You sailed me through a detailed explanation, and corrected my misunderstanding. Once again, you assisted me on Friday the 26th check marking each item with a detailed explanation and suggestions to boot - thank you as well. Lastly, Russ, over the years you were so patient with my mother's frantic questions. Then in 2011 you guided me with swallowing up the newly discovered additional funds for her funeral agreement. You are blessed as a result of your personal relationship with Christ. That serves as a foundation as you navigate grieving family members so compassionately coupled with your beaming smile and discerning wisdom. Each of you has left a unique impression that will serve to comfort me when I think back to my mother's celebration / funeral service.
