Doris L. (nee Lindsay) Whiddon

Doris L. (nee Lindsay) Whiddon, 89, went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2005. She retired from Alside Inc. and was a member of the Firestone Park Baptist Church, O.E.S. Fern Leaf Chapter and had been active in Project Learn and Project OASIS.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Donald Lindsay. She is survived by her, daughter Fran White; sons, Larry (Barbara) of Uniontown, Paul (Linda), and Roger (Shirley) of Simsbury, CT.; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 10:00 a.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Oather Burney officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
