Ethel C. Williams

Ethel C. Williams, 94, went Home to be with the Lord on April 28, 2005, at Sumner on Ridgewood. Born in KY, she resided in the Akron area most of her life and was a Charter Member of the Akron Baptist Temple, where she taught Sunday School for 30 years.

Preceded in death by husband, Elgin and son, Ernest Harold Williams, she will be sadly missed by daughters, Donna (Ed) Gilbraith, Judy (Doug) Fate, Sandy (Ralph) Trowbridge; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Lorena Phillips.

The funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 3, at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 East Market Street, with Chaplain Dick Gibson officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for ONE HOUR prior to the funeral service on Tuesday from 12 to 1 p.m.
