Betty Jane (nee Beals) Zofchak

Betty Jane (nee Beals) Zofchak, 76, Passed away suddenly December 26, 2005 after a short illness. Her kind and generous spirit touched many lives. She was deeply devoted to her family and friends and enjoyed playing Bingo and will be deeply missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, James E. and Marion G. Beals; brothers Pvt. Bruce, Pvt. James, Jr., Jack, and George. She is survived by children Sandy Hendrickson of Barberton, Carol (Ron) Partsch of Norton, Judy (Tom) Gilbert of Akron, John "Bobby" (Nancy) of Akron; grandchildren, Ron (Annie Reagan) Partsch of Cuyahoga Falls, Laura (Jeremy) Miracle of Wadsworth, Tracy (Todd) Wilmouth of Akron, Kevin Hendrickson of Virginia, John Zofchak, II and Kelsey Zofchak; great-grandchild Owen Hendrickson of Virginia; brothers, Don (Trudy) Beals of Akron, and Max Beals of Hudson; sister, Margaret Riemenschneider of Barberton and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 East Market Street, with Rev. Larry Shaw officiating. Internment at Lakewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends TONIGHT from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
