Eloise B. Kimble, 89, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2020. She was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Remus and Geneva (Loan) Smith and lived most of her life in the greater Akron area.
Eloise worked as a cook at The Waterloo restaurant as well as various other establishments, where she utilized her amazing southern culinary expertise. She participated in a bowling league for a number of years, enjoyed crocheting and was just a wonderful all-around person.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest; son, David; and 7 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Arleta (Robert) Beckwith, Michael Ray Kimble and Susan L. Vance; grandchildren, Jennifer L. Houston, Andrea Nottingham and Brian Beckwith; great-grandchildren, Austin and Andrew Casto, Maxwell Houston and Hunter Zander; and sisters, Kathleen and Phyllis.
A private family funeral service will be held at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home and Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
