Holly R. Bulfinch, 27, of Akron, passed away March 27, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born in Painesville, OH on September 28, 1983 and had been an Akron resident for the last 11 years.

Holly was an honor’s student at the University of Akron majoring in finance, worked full-time at Acxiom and was involved in many volunteer activities. She was an avid soccer player and hurler, was a passionate animal lover and advocate, and enjoyed painting, snowboarding, dancing and music.

Holly is survived by her mother, Lori (Scott) Kondik; father, Charles Bulfinch; sisters, Melissa (Brian) Griggs and Kailie McQuiston; brothers, Adam (Amber) Bulfinch and Aaron (fiancé Sarah) Bulfinch; step-brother, Rick Edburg; maternal grandmother, Estelle (Rich) Smith; maternal grandfather, Charles Vacey; paternal grandmother, Rose J. Money; and countless loving friends and family members.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 1 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Rev. Ronald Croyle Jr. officiating. Calling hours will be at the funeral home on Friday, April 1 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made care of Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305 so several of Holly’s favorite charities may be helped.
