Johnny, as my dad called him, was a great man and our hearts go out to you in this time of sorrow.

He was a very good friend to my dad, and our family. Please know that my sisters, nieces, and nephew remember him and we were all saddened to hear of his passing.

In addition to the many hours he and my dad spent doing whatever dads do (smile), we also remember him and Barb taking meatloaf dinners to my dad when he was in the hospital, giving my mom a red long stem rose at my dad’s wake, mowing the lawn for my mom after my dad passed, and generally keeping an eye on her and the property. My sister also recalls his love of animals. She told us that he carried a shovel in back of his pickup truck and would pick up dead animals that he saw along the road and bury them.

We are sending much love and prayers for blessings, peace, and comfort to your family.

Thank you for your kind words. Please email me your home address. I have not been able to find your address to thank you for the beautiful flowers you sent.
They are growing so fast. It has been very difficult without him.

WOW! What a shock! I have known Johnny since the sixties and loved the man. He was a helpful person and a true friend. From rabbit & pheasant hunting, to shooting pool and riding the scooters together, he was always a lot of fun and a great friend. Since I've moved out of Akron, I haven't saw him very much, but he, Barb, and Kate have stopped out to visit me several times, and it was always great to see them all.

My heart goes out to all his family, as he will be sorely missed.

RIP my friend.
