LC Johnson passed away in the Ohio Living Rockynol Retirement Community on February 7, 2019 at the age of 88.
LC is predeceased by beloved parents, Alice and Cleve Johnson; loving wife, Bertha Mae (Palmer) Johnson; and brothers, Dewy Johnson and Johnny Johnson.
LC is lovingly remembered by his children, Janice Green of Atlanta, GA, Curtis Johnson of Savanah, GA, Christopher Johnson of Dublin, GA, Valencia Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO, Dawn Rochelle Sibley of Oakland, CA; his devoted son-in-law, Ryland Williams of Akron, OH; siblings, Rosie (Johnson) Russell, Cleve Jr., Mary (Johnson) McFadden, Alvin, and Vexie all of Philadelphia, PA and Susie of Akron, OH; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
LC was born January 7, 1931 in Greenville, AL. As he came of age, LC began work as a sharecropper. When he became a young adult, he moved to Ohio and learned the skill of welding. LC became a master craftsman in welding and as a worker for the Wadsworth Foundry in Wadsworth, OH. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and a member of the local motorcycle club in Akron, OH. He enjoyed repairing vehicles as a self-taught automotive hobbyist, home renovations as a carpenter, gardening, and giving to those in need.
LC will be missed by those who knew him well, rest in peace "Mighty Wolf".
No funeral service well be held for LC out of respect for his wishes regarding the final dispostion of his remains.
