Our beloved Aaron “Bo” Flossie, 31, left us far too soon on Saturday, March 19, 2016. Born in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of Bruce and Rebecca Flossie. He graduated from Garfield High School in 2003 and worked as an educational assistant at Bridges, Akron Public Schools.
He enjoyed playing cards with his friends, playing games with his niece and nephews, and like any good Flossie…football was a huge passion of his. He played baseball and football from the time he was 4 years old and coached football for Garfield High School. He will be remembered for his sharp and sarcastic wit, always making kids smile, and always keeping it real.
He is survived by his grandfather, “Papa Stewart”; his grandmother, “Nin” Flossie; parents, Bruce and Rebecca Flossie; brothers, Adam (Rachel) and Ben (Jaclyn); niece, Stella and nephews, Dakota and Braeden; as well as a host of dearly loved aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, “Babe” Flossie, and grandmother, Ruth Stewart.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home, 760 E Market St., Akron, Ohio 44305. A memorial service will immediately follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Flossie family, care of Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home or via the GoFund Me account at https://www.gofundme.com/mrdxu5d8.
