Adrian R. Kirk, 76, passed away April 24, 2014. He was born in Barberton to the late Wendell H. and Mary M. (Dinuzzio) Kirk and was a Goodyear Heights resident most of his life. Mr. Kirk was an Army veteran of the 101st Airborne Division, worked for 25 years at Akron Standard Mold and was a devout Cleveland Indians fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by baby boy Kirk and his daughter, Pamela. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet; children, Stephen, Jeffrey (Karen) and Mary; grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Justin, Kelly, Joseph, Tyler, Chelsea, Julie and Anthony; great-granddaughters, Angel and Jordyn; brother, Ralph; and sister-in-law, Jo.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., with Pastor John Knepper officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 10 – 11 a.m.
