Alexandra Christine (Kovacich) Bunch of Rootstown passed away unexpectedly September 11, 2025 at the age of 35. She was born in Ravenna, OH March 8,1990 to Michael and Christine Kovacich. She grew up in Randolph, OH and graduated from Waterloo High School, class of 2008. She just recently celebrated her 10th year of service at Sarchione Chevrolet in Randolph. She also ran her own small business, Bunch & Co. In the fall of 2015 she met her soulmate, Matthew, and his little guy Alan, who she loved with all her heart. She created her home and little family with so much love. Matt and Alan were her pride and whole world. Alex and Matt were married on the beach in Fort Myers, Florida, September 18, 2023. Her wedding days in Florida and Ohio were the happiest days of her life.
Alex had a beautiful heart of gold. She was so loving, caring and giving. She would help anyone when they needed it, even if she didn’t feel well or had the time. Alex always loved having a good time and was so much fun. She made people laugh, dance or just smile. She didn’t hold back at times with what she had to say. Most of all for Alex, it was love for her family. She loved and adored her husband and son. The strong family bond was unbreakable between her parents and sisters. She loved endlessly her fur babies: Chester, Cletus and Simon. Her passing has left so many broken hearts. Many that will never heal.
Alex leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, her husband Matt and bonus son Alan; sisters, Brooke (Zachary) Dice, Natalie (Nathan) Merchant, bonus sister Kimberly (Greg/neighbor boy) Slattery; and grandfather Jim (Nicki) Howe. Also cherishing her memory is her mother-in-law Diane (Jim) Clay; father-in-law Lindon Bunch; brother-in-law Tyler (Jen) Bunch and sister-in-law Carly Bunch. Alex leaves so many more aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends that will miss her terribly. The void she has left behind in our family unit will never be filled. Those that she loved that went before her were grandparents, Joseph and Katherine Kovacich, and grandmother Shirley Riemenschneider, whose birthday Alex passed on; loving Godparents, Judy and Jake Jacobson; a special cousin who made the ultimate sacrifice, Derek Wyatt; grandparents-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Carson; and so many other cherished family members.
