Anna E. (Petrlich) Graves, 88 passed away January 9, 2012 in Florida. Born in Maysville WVA to the late Peter and Katherine (Rabb) Petrlich, she lived in the Akron area most of her life. Mrs. Graves retired from Goodyear, where she was a “Rosie the Riveter” during WWII and was proud to serve her country working on the Goodyear FG-1 Corsair. She was a member of Visitation of Mary Church and St. Francis de Sales.
Preceded in death by husband, Lt. Colonel Frank Graves (1986) and daughter Carrie (2001). She is survived by her son, Mark (Nancy) Mesaros; daughter, Cecilia (Paul) Capone; 9 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Friday, January 13, 2012, at 1:00 p.m., at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home TWO HOURS prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
