Astrid J. Peter, 16, passed away October 22, 2011 after a brave year-long battle with Leukemia. She was born in Painesville, was a junior at East Palestine High School and was a member of Disciples Christian Church.
Astrid was a joy for everyone to be around, even during her health struggles. She will always be loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Astrid (Jonathan) Philips; brother, Joseph Scheibert; step-brothers, Jonathan and Adam Philips; and many loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 12 noon at the Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Rd., Boardman, OH 44512, with Rev. Tim Brown officiating.
