Barbara J. Cover

Barbara J. Cover, 77, passed away May 4, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Brookville, PA to the late Newell and Margaret (Swineford) Newhouse, she was a Woodridge High School graduate and worked for Roadway Express for over 20 years.

Barbara had a wide range of hobbies including macramé, calligraphy, and painting. With a big green thumb, her most treasured pastime was gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Renee Wright; and brothers, Barry Newhouse and Kenny Newhouse. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Hoffman; son-in-law, Maceo Wright; grandsons, Jacob Hoffman and Kaleb Fincham; granddaughter, Raquel Fincham; brother, Bruce Newhouse; and ex-husband and friend, Thomas Testa; and many close friends who provided great support in these hard times, especially Marcia Sanders and Sandy Gaspar-Castilow.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
