Barbara J. (McClelland) Smith, 89, passed away September 11, 2015 at Essex Healthcare of Tallmadge. Born in Hudson, she was a lifelong Akron resident who enjoyed fishing and taking pictures. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as her dog, Buffy.
Preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Smith, she will be sadly missed by her sons, Robert Carl, James Wesley, David Lee (Karen) and William D. (Mary); grandchildren, Barbie, Chris, Autumn, Andy, Aarron and Pam; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Per Barb’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
